Here are 5 more pieces titled 6 -10. These pieces radiate raw energy, random shapes and colors bringing order to chaos. Abstract Expressionism is not dead. I recently read an article concluding that Abstract was Old Fashioned. If this is the case then why are there still artists creating work that is inspiring. Why do my MySpace pages have artists that I think are incredible. I think the beauty in Abstract Expressionism is that no two works would ever be the same, like a snowflake. Plus abstract expressionist artists really have definitive styles, they may at times be influenced by others by their particular style is like a fingerprint. No two are ever the same. I sometimes think artists should just stop signing their work on the canvas. Think about it, would your work ever be mistaken for another?
